A variety of people have helped shape who I am. Looking back on my life so far, I realize the people I’ve met have had a huge impact on me. I often think about the quote, “You are an average of the five people you spend the most time with,” and another that resonates deeply is, “Who you become depends on the books you read and the people you meet.”
I think about my parents and the sacrifices they made to give me opportunities to play sports, take piano lessons, and go on fun vacations. I also reflect on leaders at my church who genuinely cared about me and helped me grow into a better person. Through both the uplifting and the challenging experiences, I have learned and developed more into myself based on the people I’ve encountered and the lessons they brought.
One experience that stands out happened while serving a mission for my church in Colombia, where I learned humility and gratitude. I watched a fellow missionary throw away old, stained clothes, only to see a man from Venezuela pick them up and explain there was nothing wrong with them. He planned to use them for himself and his family. That moment taught me that one person’s junk can truly be another person’s treasure, and it reminded me to look for ways to find value in what no longer serves me. At Allos, I have the privilege of witnessing clients navigate life’s ups and downs and being a support as they work through them.
I love helping people move toward financial freedom and guiding them to feel more confident and less stressed about their finances. By providing personalized financial planning and thoughtful guidance, I aim to bring the clarity and tools needed to focus on what matters most in your life, whether that is family, personal goals, or meaningful experiences. My goal is to empower clients to make informed decisions, build a strong financial foundation, and enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing their future is on track or that they’re actively working to get there.
I earned my degree in Personal Financial Planning from Utah Valley University, where I was honored with the Outstanding Student Award in my senior year in Spring 2024. During my time there, I also received an Honorable Mention in the IARFC National Financial Plan Competition in 2021, experiences that strengthened my knowledge and passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.
My wife and I are parents to three active and loving children. I work each day to become a better father, who in turn will send out great children into the world to help more people. I love competition. I love to do anything that involves a ball, bat, or frisbee and anything that gets me outside like fishing, hunting, shooting my bow, gardening, riding motorcycles and hiking.
I am deeply involved in my church. I help where I can – whether that be with youth activities, guiding discussions during church lessons, or helping with music. Being part of this community allows me to foster meaningful connections and make a positive impact in the lives of others. I also participate in regular service activities that support families and neighbors, helping to strengthen our local community. In addition, I volunteer with Rotary, contributing my time and energy to initiatives that improve the lives of people both locally and globally. Helping others and being part of a community that uplifts one another is an important part of who I am and how I approach life.
