I’ve always been fascinated by what shapes the direction of someone’s life. Early on, I found myself drawn to understanding how people think, the choices they make, and how those choices can create opportunities or limit them.
Growing up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado as the youngest of six, I had a front-row seat to how different mindsets can lead to very different paths. That perspective taught me that there is rarely just one way to build something meaningful. It takes intention, discipline, and the willingness to keep moving forward.
That interest in people, decision-making, and personal direction is part of what drew me to financial planning. As a Client Service Associate, I enjoy helping clients feel more prepared throughout the planning process by gathering information, answering questions, and supporting the details that help make what comes next feel more approachable.
I enjoy working with people who are willing to think deeply about what they want and challenge what feels typical or expected. Some of the most meaningful conversations happen when someone takes a step back and begins to see their choices with more perspective.
At my core, I believe that clear direction and purposeful action can help people build lives that reflect what matters most to them. That belief continues to shape the way I learn, solve problems, and support others.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife, and we share a love for being outdoors and staying active. Whether it’s playing pickleball, volleyball, or just enjoying time in the sun, we look for simple ways to enjoy where we are and who we’re with.
Travel is something we both value, and we look forward to seeing more of the world together. Experiencing new places, cultures, and perspectives continues to shape how I see life and what I prioritize.
Music has also been a constant throughout my life. I’m often singing whatever song happens to come to mind, and I enjoy the way music brings energy and connection into everyday moments. I also have a natural curiosity and am always looking to learn something new, whether it’s a skill, a concept, or a different way of thinking.
For me, a fulfilling life is built on growth, shared experiences, and taking time to appreciate both the big moments and the simple ones.
Giving back has always been an important part of my life, and I’ve been fortunate to be part of communities that have invested in me along the way. Because of that, I’ve always felt a responsibility to do the same for others.
One of the most meaningful experiences in my life was serving a mission for my church in Los Angeles and Fukuoka, Japan. That time allowed me to connect with people from different backgrounds, gain a broader perspective, and focus on serving others in personal ways.
I also enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge whenever I have the opportunity. Whether it’s helping someone better understand a concept or teaching a new skill like dancing, I find a lot of fulfillment in seeing others grow and gain confidence.
During college, I had the opportunity to serve in a leadership role where I worked to mentor others and help strengthen the program for those who would come after me. Experiences like that reinforced my belief that small efforts to help others can have a lasting impact over time.
